Arab Planning Institute (API) held a training program on "Economic and social planning" In favor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Republic of Sudan. which was held in the city of Khartoum/Sudan during period 30/10/2016 to 1/11/2016. The program focused on strategies/methods of economic and social planning, identifying planning mechanisms, planning concepts and requirements, and inductive planning. Trainee from different ministries (Foreign Affairs, Industry, Trade, Finance, Ajiad, and Sudan Tell) applied concepts and theories learned on their ministries. They analysis the current situation using SWOT, PESTEL, S7, Porter Diamond Theory, identifies the current gap, propose the strategic directions, and the balanced score cards in the relevant plan.
